Studio, individual work
In the following project, we were asked to create a holiday resort concept on the Isle of Wight, England, and then develop a chosen part of the resort further. The proposed building would effectively be a part of a larger resort. In my resort concept proposal, I focused on integration with the landscape by using the contour lines of the site to generate a resort pattern, with a main pathway going through the resort and providing access to the sea.

Building within resort
For my building proposal, I chose a cluster of elements to develop further for the possibility of mixing different uses. I wanted to break down the contemporary concept of organisation and challenge the way we organise our time. Isle of Wight is historically known for their music culture and festivals, something I took use of in my brief and building programme to promote timelessness.
